snacks by Shira vol. 17: popped sorghum
makes 1 serving
Ingredients
1/4 cup sorghum grain
1 Tbsp coconut oil
1 - 2 tsp ghee
1/4 tsp sea salt
Preparation
- Preheat a stainless steal pot over medium-high heat.
- Add 1 Tbsp coconut oil.
- When coconut oil has melted, add sorghum grains and cover with lid.
- Shake the pot continuously as the sorghum grains pop.
- When popping has slowed to 8-10 seconds between pops, remove the pan from heat.
- Place popped sorghum in bowl and stir in ghee and sea salt.
- Enjoy!
