snacks by Shira vol. 37: sesame roasted asparagus
Ingredients
1 lb asparagus
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp coconut aminos
1 Tbsp hot toasted sesame oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp fresh grated ginger
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
pinch of sea salt
1 Tbsp sesame seeds
Preparation
- Preheat oven to broil.
- Toss asparagus in a bowl with olive oil, coconut aminos, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes, and mix until well combined.
- Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and pour the remaining marinade on top.
- Broil the asparagus for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping once, or until ends are golden.
- Top with hot toasted sesame oil and sesame seeds.
- Enjoy!
